This year has been particularly hard on charities. We've focused on different organisations who are all doing amazing work and will be making donations to try assist them as much as possible. If you feel you are in a position to aid them further and wish to add an extra donation, use the specific charity code (see below) when doing your entry.
Lambano Sanctuary
Lambano is a home and Paediatric Medical Step-down Facility/Hospice for children living with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. The home was established in 2001 and has 28 permanent children living in four different homes. The paediatric medical step-down facility and hospice was opened in 2009. The unit is accredited by the HPCA and consists of 16 beds. It is currently being run by 22 trained and experienced medical staff.

A non-profit organisation that brings people together to provide expert surgical intervention and pre and post-operative care for children in need of reconstructive surgery. Smile Foundation is passionately committed to making a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children living with treatable facial conditions such as facial paralysis, cleft lip and cleft palate, ear and nose reconstructions and burn victims.

Our purpose is to create awareness about Cancer, to educate on early detection and to render palliative care to Cancer patients. SPCA Edenvale
Edenvale SPCA exists to prevent cruelty and improper treatment of animals by encouraging kindness and consideration of animals and wildlife within Edenvale. There is a reliance on the generosity of the public to continue with the work done. Our intention is to rescue, care for and find homes for as many animals as possible and to educate as many people as possible about animal care. We are further hosting steri days where animals are sterilized and are actively involved in outreach projects. The funding received would greatly assist us to rescue, care for, home and sterilize many more animals.

We are a Non-Profit Organisation established in 1995. We cater for children & adults with various disabilities such as Down Syndrome, Autism, Cerebral Palsy & Intellectually Impaired. We teach them the basic reading, writing and numeracy skills but also focus a lot on life skills, arts & crafts and independency skills.

Woodside Special Care Centre is a residential home caring for 80 profoundly intellectually and physically disabled residents and is situated in Rondebosch East, Cape Town, South Africa. Since its inception in 1976 Woodside has worked diligently towards building a home of safety and security for its residents, all of whom require specialised care and who are unable to remain within their family units.
